The English word "rapture" comes from the Latin word rapio.
In the Latin Bible the word rapio is used in I Thes. 4:16, 17.
In the English Bible the phrase is "caught up." The English word "rapture"
is not in the Bible. The phrase "caught up" is in the Bible, which is
what rapture means.

God’s wrath will be poured out on the earth during the seven years of
Tribulation in chapters 4 through 19 of Revelation. Note that the church
is not in these chapters because Christ will have caught up the believers
in the church.
